ENGLISH: The UEVO Study
Childhood Experiences of Violence and Abuse: a National Survey of Norwegian Adolescents 12 to 16 Years of Age
This pioneer study was enabled due to a change in the Norwegian legal framework of health studies that allowed for children to participate without parental or guardian consent. A similar study with a smaller sample (CopeYouth 2020) was conducted shortly after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Norway, introducing new questions regarding the effects of school closures and increased time spent at home. The UEVO-study is now preparing for a new collection of data in 2021.
